Mollymook Outrigger Canoe Club
Our Story

Get to Know Us
Mollymook Outrigger Canoe Club (MOCC) is based on the beautiful South Coast of NSW. We have been a community sporting club for more than 20 years. We strive to provide opportunities for everyone in our community to participate in healthy, safe and inclusive outrigger canoe activities.
MOCC is managed by dedicated volunteers all of whom tirelessly provide their skills, time and assistance to ensure the club can offer a variety of structured programs and events.
Our club encourages inclusivity catering for a wide range of abilities and ages. Our social paddlers enjoy the serenity of Burrill Lake, three times a week with a good mix of male and female paddlers. Our competitive paddlers also attract a diverse membership, who have the opportunity to compete in mens, women and mixed crews at club, state, national and international level.
Location
MOCC has access to two superb paddling venues; flat water paddling on beautiful Burrill Lake and ocean paddling from Ulladulla harbour, where on occasion we are joined by the friendly locals (dolphins, seals and if we are lucky a whale or two). We have a fleet of OC6 canoes including 3 ‘state-of-the-art’ ultra-light racing canoes, plus an OC3, OC2s and OC1s club canoes.

Training Schedule
Paddle as One Force
Mollymook Outrigger Canoe Club, provides the opportunity to train most days of the week. If you wish to train at a particular session, you indicate your interest via our StackTeamApp.
Paddlers are requested to arrive approximately 15-20 minutes prior to each session to assist in the preparation of the canoes and equipment for training. Similarly, the training session is not complete until all canoes and equipment have been returned to their storage space.
Outrigger Paddling is the perfect sport for cross discipline fitness, helping to build balanced upper body strength. Marathon and sprint racing is perfect for building and maintaining solid conditioning.
Sessions are designed to cater for all levels of paddler, from novice to representative. Additional sessions may be added at times. Members are welcome to use our fleet of OC1 & OC2 craft at their convenience.
